Information We Collect

Information you provide: When you submit your email address, phone number, name, or other contact details through our forms, we collect and store that information.

Automatically collected data: When you visit FreeCareerApp, we automatically collect: IP address and approximate geographic location (state/city level), browser type and version, device type and device fingerprint (desktop/mobile/tablet), pages visited and time on page, referring/exit pages and referral source, ZIP codes entered in our search tools.

Cookies and local storage: We use cookies and local storage to enhance your experience and track site analytics. See Section 4 for details.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: operate and improve the Site; respond to your inquiries; send you newsletters, updates, and promotional communications (only if you opt in); analyze site traffic and usage patterns; comply with legal obligations; prevent fraud or abuse; and deliver targeted advertising through our advertising partners.

We may share your information with third-party advertising partners (including LiveRamp and programmatic advertising networks) for the purpose of audience targeting, identity resolution, and personalized advertising. See Section 3 for details on this sharing and how to opt out.

Sharing With Advertising Partners

FreeCareerApp participates in programmatic advertising and audience data programs. We may share certain personal information — including your email address (in hashed/encrypted form), IP address, and browsing behavior on our sites — with the following categories of third parties for advertising and audience targeting purposes:

LiveRamp Authenticated Traffic Solution (ATS) — We may pass your hashed email address to LiveRamp for identity resolution and audience matching. This enables advertisers to serve you relevant ads across the web. LiveRamp's privacy policy is available at liveramp.com/privacy. You can opt out of LiveRamp at liveramp.com/opt_out.

Programmatic advertising networks — We work with demand-side platforms (DSPs) and advertising networks that may use your data to serve targeted ads. These partners may set cookies or collect device identifiers.

Google Display Network — Google may use your browsing behavior to serve personalized ads. Opt out at google.com/settings/ads.

Your right to opt out: Under California law (CCPA), this type of data sharing may constitute a "sale" of personal information. You have the right to opt out at any time by visiting our Do Not Sell My Personal Information page. Opting out will stop future sharing of your data with advertising partners for targeting purposes.

FreeCareerApp uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:

Essential cookies: Necessary for the Site to function properly.
Analytics cookies: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our Site. Google Analytics collects data such as pages visited, time on site, and traffic sources. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Email Collection & Communications

When you provide your email address on FreeCareerApp, you are subscribing to receive updates, resources, and promotional content from Summit Channel Partners. We will only send emails you have consented to receive.

Opt-out: Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also opt out by emailing privacy@summitchannelpartners.com. Note that you may still receive transactional or service-related emails even after unsubscribing from marketing emails.

Third-Party Services & Analytics

We use the following third-party services that may collect data on our behalf:

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — website analytics including page views, scroll depth, and engagement events. Opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google AdSense — advertising. Google may use cookies to serve personalized ads. Opt out at google.com/settings/ads.
LiveRamp ATS — identity resolution and audience matching for advertising. Opt out at liveramp.com/opt_out.
Programmatic advertising partners — demand-side platforms and ad networks that serve targeted advertising. Opt out via optout.aboutads.info or our Do Not Sell page.
Email service providers — for sending newsletters and notifications.

Affiliate Partner Disclosure

FreeCareerApp participates in affiliate marketing programs. When you click affiliate links and make purchases, we may earn a commission. Our affiliate partners may set their own cookies to track purchases. This does not affect the price you pay. See our full Affiliate Disclosure for details.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time via our Do Not Sell / Data Deletion page or by emailing privacy@summitchannelpartners.com.

Children's Privacy

FreeCareerApp is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@summitchannelpartners.com.

Your Privacy Rights (CCPA & GDPR)

California Residents (CCPA): You have the right to: (1) Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell; (2) Delete your personal information; (3) Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising — use our Do Not Sell My Personal Information page; (4) Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights; (5) Correct inaccurate personal information.

EU/UK Residents (GDPR): You have rights of access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on prior consent.

We will respond to all rights requests within 45 days (CCPA) or 30 days (GDPR).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
